New members are always welcome (and encouraged) to join any of the choirs/ensemble. You can even come to a few rehearsals to see what we do.
When we sing, we invite God into our hearts. Music touches all of us and through the music program here at Holy Child, all are welcomed to participate.
Holy Child offers a variety of choirs with the belief that the music ministry has
a place for everyone. The different choirs and ensembles are open to anyone who is willing to volunteer time and talent.

The Children's Choir (Grades 3+)
Monday: 3:30 - 4:30 pm
The children's choir participates in the Family Masses throughout the school year.
The Handbell Choir (children and adults)
Tuesday: 5:15 - 6:30pm
The Choir meets from autumn through the Feast of Corpus Christi.
The Choir rings twice a month at Sunday Mass and for special Feasts and parish celebrations. They also perform for the community several times a year, including at Christmas in Richmondtown and Scalia Tree Lighting Ceremonies.
Neither experience nor ability to read music is required to join the group.
The Choir
Tuesday: 7:00 - 8:30 pm
This group, open to high school students and adults, sings at the 11:00 am Mass from October through the Feast of Corpus Christi in the spring. Music reading ability is helpful but not required. The choir sings different styles of music, including traditional and contemporary.
The Youth Ensemble (students proficient on all instruments)
This ensemble of young musicians participates at the two monthly Family Masses, Christmas and Easter Masses. If you are new to this group, please contact Sandra prior to the first rehearsal.
